As discussed in the last newsletter, our conveyor belts, especially the reinforced belts, are finding new areas of application, such as in recycling. These new sectors of application are also associated with new requirements, for which we have developed innovative solutions. It turned out that for certain applications a flat surface offers advantages in reinforced conveyor belts. For example, the transverse pushing of parts.
With this in mind, we revised the surface of our reinforced hinges. Our approach was to place the hinge eyes to the bottom of the belt, to create a flat surface. Furthermore this enables tilt-proof transport. With this new variant, a standing transport on the complete conveying surface is possible.
